TEACHER
EDUCATION NETWORK (TEN)
A committee of the Moravian Western District Christian Education Commission
What
does TEN offer?
An annual
fall retreat for Christian Educators at the lovely Mt. Morris
Camp and Conference Center in Wautoma, Wisconsin. Our retreats feature
energizing sessions with keynote speakers, refreshing worship, genuine
fellowship, and personal relaxation opportunities.
Mini retreats and workshops at select locations within the Western District.
For folks who cannot attend our premier events at Mt. Morris, TEN takes
its show on the road to outlying areas.
An engaging
newsletter, filled with practical teaching tips, helpful
book reviews, seasonal essays and activities, is distributed three times
a year.
Personalized
assistance. Because TEN is comprised of regional representatives,
there is a TEN member in your geographic area that is more than willing
to speak with you about your church's Christian education needs.
Networking.
As our name implies, TEN seeks to link Christian educators together
to share experience and knowledge in such areas as:
>> Motivation
>>
Spiritual Nurture
>>
Teaching Basics
>>
Adult Education
>>
Learning Centers
>>
Music and the Arts
>>
Curriculum Assessment
>>
