Justin Rabbach
Current Residence: Madison, but it changes periodically....
Home Congregation: Ebenezer Moravian Church
Regional representative for: Downey Moravian Church and Morongo Moravian Church
I grew up in the Moravian Church, and was always treated like I was a part of a family while I was there. I want to see the family feel grow beyond individual churches, and then beyond groups of Moravian Churches. Christ gave us a call to go out to all, and I see this ministry as a great stepping stone on our way out to meet more people. We live in a world of "NOW!" in terms of technology, I want to harness that impatience and turn it into an urgency to serve Christ now, in this moment. As we read in the book of Esther, it is "for such a time as this" that we have been put in this place with a chance to be a part of this ministry. Don't miss your "Now!" moment to act.

Megan Piper
Current Residence: Fargo, North Dakota
Home Congregation: Goshen Moravian Church
Regional representative for: Bethel Moravian Church, Canaan Moravian Church, Goshen Moravian Church, and Shepherd of the Prairie
I am currently going to North Dakota State University and majoring in Family and Consumer Science Education. I enjoy being active in many organizations on my campus, but I wanted to do something more within my Moravian denomination. I heard about this opportunity through Cobweb Communication and thought it would be a great way to meet and keep in touch with congregations. I truly believe that as a younger generation, we have so much to offer to our churches in order to make an impact.

Sean William Tessmer
Current Residence: Bismarck, ND
Home Congregation: Main Street Moravian in Northfield, MN
Regional representative for: Christ’s Community Church, New Horizon Community Church
I'm 22 years old and am graduating this spring with a B.A. in Religion and Political Science. I will be applying this fall to Divinity Schools in order to get a Ph. D. in New Testament Studies, specifically the letters of Paul. I like to read and play video games in my spare time, whatever that is, and I'm currently involved in Student Senate, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and Judicial Board. I'm involved in this ministry because I've felt a call towards greater involvement with the Moravian Church, I grew up Lutheran, and as a young person in the activities that I'm involved with, I know how important communication is for a functional, healthy organization.

Greg Behrend (Committee Director)
Current Residence: Green Bay, WI
Home Congregation: Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church
Regional representative for: Chaska Moravian Church, Lake Auburn Moravian Church and Waconia Moravian Church
I am a part of this ministry because I believe this ministry will help build stronger relationships between our brothers and sisters of the Western District Moravian Church. This ministry gives Moravians the opportunity to see what other congregations are doing to show God to the world and how they personally can be involved with other congregations in the district through participation, prayer, encouragement and simply sharing the good news. I enjoy traveling, being outdoors and music. I look forward to what this ministry can do for Christians and all the people we share God’s love with.

Megan Landgraf
Current Residence: Appleton, WI
Home Congregation: Christian Faith Moravian, DeForest, WI
Regional representative for: Glenwood Moravian, Lake View Moravian, and Christian Faith Moravian
Hi, my name is Megan. I'm a marketing specialist for a manufacturing facility in Appleton, WI. In my free time I enjoy working out, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family. I look forward to helping the churches of the Western District share events and ideas with each other. By trying new events and participating in events held by other congregations, I hope that Moravians across the country can grow in their faith. I'm so pleased that I was asked to be a part of this ministry. I know we'll do great things - and become great friends in the process.

McKenzie Birmingham
Current City: Chicago, Illinois
Home Congregation: Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church
Regional representative for: London Moravian Church and Lake Mills Moravian Church
Currently, I'm living in Chicago as a student at Columbia College majoring in Musical Theater Performance and minoring in Performing Arts Management. The transition from small town to big city was not difficult physically or emotionally, but it was spiritually. There aren't any Moravian Churches near me and I couldn't find the same atmosphere in other churches and as a result, my faith became weaker. I am blessed to be a member of Cobweb Ministry because along with connecting all the Moravian congregations, I have become more connected with my faith as well. I look forward to meeting members of other congregations as this ministry grows together in size and faith.

Katelin Nading
Current City: Bloomington, Indiana
Home Congregation: Hope Moravian Church (Indiana)
Regional representative for: Ebenezer Moravian Church and Watertown Moravian Church
I am a student at Indiana University majoring in Social Work. I have always been as involved as possible with the Moravian Church, which is sometimes difficult being in a state with only two Moravian churches. I have attended camps, rallies, and retreats for twelve years and have been an employee of Laure Ridge Camp & Conference Center, the Southern Province's Moravian-owned camp ground, for the past two summers. I am thrilled to be apart of the Cobweb Communication Ministry because I believe it will lessen the vast physical expanse Western District, a much needed fix! As a member of CCM, my faith is encouraged by the fellow young adults who have been so innovative in bringing this ministry to fruition.

Dan Miller
Current City: Lake Mills, Wisconsin
Home Congregation: Lake Mills Moravian Church, Lake Mills, WI
Regional representative for: Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church, and Veedum Moravian Church
I am in my final semester at UW-Whitewater. My major is Secondary Education (Math) and my minor is coaching. Currently, I am student teaching at Deerfield High School (Deerfield, WI) in the Math Department where I teach a number of math courses and also coach baseball. I believe my purpose in being a teacher is to provide adolescents a positive male role model in their everyday lives.
Throughout my teenage years, I have taken advantage of multiple opportunities to stay involved in my home congregation. Now in my young adult years, I want to serve outside of my home congregation. I believe that this ministry can help forge relationships between members of the Western District congregations while simultaneously reaching out to other Christians in order to further unite the entire body of Christ and work to do His will together.

Beth Behrend
Current Residence: Wisconsin Rapids, WI
Home Congregation: Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church
Regional Representative for: Kellner Moravian Church, Rudolph Moravian Church, and Saratoga Moravian Church
The Cobweb Communications Committee is a way for me to stay connected with churches around the Western District, while I help those churches stay connected with each other. I love to stay involved with the Moravian Church, especially when it comes to working with young people. I have seen the progress our committee has made to enhance communication within the Western District, and I look forward to whatever tasks will be presented to the committee in the future.

Remington Nystrom
Current Residence: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Home Congregation: Wisconsin Rapids Moraviain
Regional Representative for: Ephraim Moravian Church, Sister Bay Moravian Church, and Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church
I join this committee because I felt God was telling me this was my chance to build relationships with the other congregations in the Western District. I also saw this as an opportunity to help others build relationships as well. I hope that this ministry will help other people in our district see what kinds of other ministries are out there and how they themselves can get involved in.

Amy Schumacher
Current Residence: Green Bay, WI
Home Congregation: Freedom Moravian Church
Regional Representative for: Freedom Moravian Church, Green Bay West, Dagget
I am currently going to UW-Green Bay, going for a major in Social Work. I joined the Moravian church when I was in high school, and immediatly felt welcomed and at home. I have been very involved in the church ever since, through camps, youth group, and music groups, and I felt a calling to beomce even more invovled in the church as a whole. I am thrilled to have to have the opportunity to be a part of the Cobweb Communications Ministry and to help make more connections between the churches in the Western District.

Katie Page
Current Residence: Rochester, Michigan
Home Congregation: Freedom Moravian Church
Regional Representative for: Grace Moravian Church and Unionville Moravian Church
I am a part of this committee because I love the Moravian church and all that it stands for: the community, the caring, and the food.

Georgina Mayorga
Current Residence: Indianapolis, Indiana
Home Congregation: Zacchaeuss’ Tree: A Moravian Congregation
Regional representative for: West Salem Moravian Church, Hope Moravian Church, and Zacchaeus Tree Ministries
I’m Georgina, I’m 23, and I live in the best city in the Midwest: Indy! I go to Z-Tree on Indy’s southside and I’ve had a lifelong love for the Moravian church. Growing up I went to all the camps, retreats, and rallies I could go to. It was so great seeing all my friends from all over the Midwest and share fellowship with them. During adolescence’s awkward moments, it was a breath of fresh air to surround yourself with Christian loving people and just be you. I will never forget those times or those people. Now that I am older, I look to the future of the Moravian church and what I can do to sustain and protect what I love. When I got asked to be a part of Cobweb Communication Committee I knew that there was no greater calling than to be a part of this ministry. Communication is hard to do, but it’s so important. It’s a meaningful discussion between people. Sharing what they know, their struggles, their hopes, dreams, and their fears. It’s vulnerable, it’s a lot of hard work, but it’s worth the efforts to stay unified and supported by the people you love and the people you want to love. Unity, support, and common interest are all gifts from God, that we cannot take advantage of without communication. This rings true throughout the Western District, and I will strive to uphold our purpose statement!
